PCB design from your schematic. PCB design and layout is our specialty. We will usually take your schematic, although not necessary, and create a professionally designed PCB just for you. Whatever your project may be, we'll take your ideas and create a professionally designed PCB that fits your schematic. Upon receiving your schematic, we will;
- Identify critical nets to pay special attention to (High speed, clock, Power, etc.)
- Check the overall schematic design (schematic design review).
- Verify the parts used have correct PCB footprints in the schematic.
- Check for valid net rule usage across all pages of schematic.
- Verify power and ground nets are marked with minimal trace width.
After the schematic is checked, our PCB design services department will begin the create the PCB design / layout. The following will then take place;
- PCB size and shape is created, including any mounting holes.
- Components are carefully placed on the PCB ( customer approval of placement might be needed after this point).
- Before the net routing of the PCB design begins, a layout strategy is defined to take into consideration PCB cost and functionality.
- Critical nets are then routed, included any impedance defined traces.
- Power nets are analyzed to determine proper power delivery capabilities.
Once our PCB design services department is complete, it will be sent to the customer in a format acceptable to the customer to view and approve. Once approved, you have the option of order the boards and/or assembly through us as well. We will provide you with a .Zip file that contains all the information necessary to build your PCBs. This files contains;
- Gerbers.
- Readme.txt file (Notes for fabrication houses).
- X-Y pic-n-place machine data.
- Net list.
- PCB Design file.
- Assembly drawings.
- Bill Of Materials (if applicable).
