Turn-Key Design Services

We're capable of handling any part of your design cycle. Schematic capture, PCB design and layout, PCB fabrication and manufacturing assembly. Our team of hardware, software and manufacturing engineers can take your design and with our expertise, deliver a professionally designed product that you envisioned.

Our full service design cycle first entails collaboration between you and our engineers to fully understand your project. From there, our cycle will being as follows;

    • Document the full design, rule sets and any special specifications that need to be followed.
    • Schematic entry of the design.
    • PCB Design and layout.
    • Creation of the Bill Of Materials
    • Procurement of all items necessary to manufacture the PCB design assembly.
    • Final manufacturing assembly into any chassis, if specified.
    • Final functional test (if required).
    • Packaging (if required).

Schematic entry of the design begins shortly after fully documenting the product details with you. The schematic is necessary to have an electronic means of extracting electronic information to import into the PCB design software. The schematic not only shows connectivity between devices, but it also contains component footprint information, component manufacturing part numbers, tolerances, trace information and anything else that is valuable to the design. The PCB design will conform to the data derived from this schematic, so this is a very important step.

After the schematic is created, the electronic data will be extracted and imported into a PCB design / layout tool. We will then create the overall dimension of the PCB, then place components onto the PCB design. Component placement is generally approved with the client at this point, as the client generally has an idea of where they need them.

After component placement onto the PCB design, the critical nets will be routed (clocks, USB, DDR, etc), followed by any other traces. A power delivery scheme is placed into the power plane layers for best connectivity, and finally, any silkscreen that is needed will be placed on the final PCB design.

Signal integrity analysis will automatically be done on PCB designs that we feel are necessary. This might be a simple signal shape analysis, crosstalk, signal attenuation or even an EMI spectural analysis.

Once our PCB design services department is finished, the electronic version of the PCB will be packaged and a physical PCB will be created based on infomation in this package.

Manufacturing assembly is the next step. This first entails component procurement for all the parts in the pcb design 'bill of materials'. And with the PCBs and parts in hand, we will assemble your product with a team of seasoned manufacturing people. They will use the lasted computer controlled machines and tools to assemble your product.

Optionally, we can have your PCB design tested and packaged. This may involve an enclosure (plastic/metal case, etc), any special printed instruction booklets, a CD containing drivers and / or software, and power cords or cables needed by the consumer to use your product.
